A written document. A finished download.

A useful worksheet needs a readable download. In ViableCloud's own business, this job handles the layout and exports that someone would otherwise do by hand. Matt checks the finished pages before they go out.

Recorded on 8 September 2026. This is a real internal run using the existing Job Picker. It isn't a client case study. No time saving was measured.

The input: the Job Picker's words.

The source contains the title, the five questions and the prompt. The brand rules are already saved. The job doesn't need someone to choose the font, lay out each heading or export the preview by hand.

Write down the jobs that return to you every week. Then ask the five questions below. Each one comes with what a good answer looks like, and the job that gets a good answer to all five is the one to start with.

The record of what happened.

  1. Source accepted.

The existing Job Picker document was copied into a separate working folder. The live download stayed in place.

  2. The design check passed.

The publishing command rendered the document and ran the brand check. Result: clean.

  3. The files were produced.

A two-page download and a matching preview were ready to inspect. Both page images above came from that PDF.

  4. A separate publishing step.

The build stopped with the files ready for review. Publishing the images was a separate action. Building a file doesn't send an email or replace the live document.

Technical details of this run

The publishing command rendered the source and passed the brand check. The PDF contains 2 pages and weighs 91,673 bytes. The first-page preview measures 1273 × 1800. The images above preserve the original run; the worksheet's closing link wording has since been updated. This is a written record with output images, not an execution video.

The part a person keeps.

Check the wording, page breaks, links and whether the document is useful. A passing design check can't decide that. If something's wrong, change the source and rebuild before publishing.

AI assistance invoked the existing tool for this run. The formatting and exports are fixed code; this run doesn't demonstrate AI making business decisions. It demonstrates a small repeat job reaching a useful finish, with review kept separate from publishing.

For an example of AI helping investigate and ship a change, read Matt's Thursday complaint, Tuesday fix. That article describes the work. It doesn't claim measured hours saved.
