Make My Slide Skill helper

Let Claude walk you through it: upload a deck you like, answer a few questions, keep the skill it packages.

Guides you through the process in Claude and creates a personal slide-making skill from a deck you like.

The first part is open below. The PDF adds: what is in the download, what to keep, and what to check.

What's inside

  • The four steps to start it in Claude
  • What it asks you for, and what it hands back
  • What to keep, and what to check before you share a deck

The helping hand version

The prompt from the issue does the whole job on its own. This is the same process with the steps built in, so you answer questions instead of driving.

Once it is added to Claude:

  1. Make sure code execution and file creation are on.
  2. Open Customize, then Skills, add the ZIP and enable it.
  3. Upload a deck you are allowed to share.
  4. Say: "Use Make My Slide Skill to turn this deck's design into my own reusable slide skill. Ask me what you need before starting."

It inspects the slides, drafts the design file, makes three samples from new content, and asks for your corrections before it packages anything.
