Page one of One tool. One page. One decision.

What's inside

  • Compare the access the job needs with what the tool actually has.
  • Record one allowed task and one out-of-scope dummy-data request.
  • Name the evidence, the disconnect owner and the next decision.

Check the connection, then make the decision

Pick one AI tool and one recurring job. Sit with the person who manages access. Compare what that job needs with the actual reads, actions and output destinations in the connection settings. Mark anything you can't confirm as unknown.

The worksheet gives you space for the allowed task, an out-of-scope request using dummy data, and the setting or log that supports the result. A model saying it can't do something is not enough.

It accompanies What have you given AI the keys to?. The separate helper kit supplies editable notes, the prompt and a fictional practice case.
